# Subdomain (.centox.io)

Information about your subdomain and how to change it.

## What is a subdomain

Your subdomain indicates the link to your forum if you haven't set up a [custom domain](/domains/custom-domain.md) for your forum. It is this link that is used to access the actual forum page for your project. \
All subdomains will always be **https\://\<yourproject>.centox.io/**

## How to change your subdomain?

You can change your subdomain for your project at any time.\
To do this, navigate to Settings under your [dashboard](https://app.centox.io/).

From here, click **General**, where you will see the **Project URL** field. \
Here you can change your subdomain to whatever you want.

Make sure to click **Save** for the change to take place.
